English text below SAVE THE DATE RIAPERTURA CENTRO PER L'ARTE CONTEMPORANEA LUIGI PECCI, PRATO Preview stampa e professionisti > sabato 15 ottobre 2016 Grand Opening e inaugurazione ufficiale > domenica 16 ottobre 2016 Apertura al pubblico > da lunedì 17 ottobre 2016 Mancano poco meno di due mesi alla riapertura del Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci di Prato, che il prossimo autunno riaprirà al pubblico dopo il completamento dell'avveniristico ampliamento a forma di navicella spaziale realizzato dall'architetto indonesiano Maurice Nio. Il Centro Pecci sarà l'unico museo pubblico in Italia ad aprire nel decennio 2010-2020, diventando parte di un network internazionale di riaperture che include istituzioni culturali di livello internazionale, come la nuova ala del Tate Modern di Londra di Herzog & de Meuron o la nuova sede del Whitney Museum disegnata da Renzo Piano. Da ora sono aperte le procedure di registrazione online per stampa e professionisti per la giornata di preview del 15 ottobre. E' possibile accreditarsi per la giornata del 15 ottobre compilando il form a questo link. Per il Grand Opening di domenica 16 ottobre, invece, non è necessario l'accredito o l'invito, il museo è aperto gratuitamente per tutti. The Centro Pecci will be the only public museum in Italy to open in the decade 2010-2020, becoming part of an international network of re-openings which includes international level cultural institutions, such as the new wing of the Tate Modern of London designed by Herzog & de Meuron and the new premises of the Whitney Museum designed by Renzo Piano. It opens today the online registration procedure for press and professional preview, scheduled on Saturday October 15. Journalists and professionals can apply for accreditation by filling the form at this link. The Grand Opening, scheduled on Sunday October 2016, will be open to all the public: no invitations or accreditation needed.
