C.Ar.D. is a contemporary art and design biennial born in 2014 involving the wonderful countryshire in Northern Italy. C.Ar.D. is organized as an open air museum, with works by established and emerging international artists and designers, in the province of Piacenza (Emilia Romagna Region), during Summertime. C.Ar.D. is a wonderful opportunity to see art; meet artists at work; discuss with curators and organizers; stroll along the countryside, and discover the cultural and rural heritage of the neighbourhood; taste excellent local food and wine. The 2016 edition of C.Ar.D. - Contemporary Art and Design is becoming a reality. The board has almost done the list of participating artists; the choice of the new locations, made together with local authorities, is well under way; the press and communication office is at work.

To bring this project to the reality, we have also taken part to "cheFare", an Italian cultural competition that will allocate EUR 50,000 to the first three selected projects: we started in over 700 participants, and we were chosen among the 40 finalists.
