IAAD TURIN DESIGN WORKSHOP 2016 L'ARTE DI FARE LE CITTA' Torino città dell'integrazione: la cultura come leva strategica di trasformazione sociale CONFERENZA DI PRESENTAZIONE DEI RISULTATI _________ venerdì 19 febbraio 2016 - ore 14.30 BasicNet - Sala Lattes C.so Regio Parco, 39 - Torino   IAAD presenta i risultati  della settima edizione degli IAAD TURIN DESIGN WORKSHOP, il cui tema ha preso spunto dall'opera dell'urbanista inglese Charles Landry The Art of City Making. La creatività civica – sostiene Landry – è la capacità immaginativa di risolvere problemi applicata a obiettivi volti al bene collettivo. Presuppone da parte del settore pubblico un maggiore spirito imprenditoriale, pur entro i limiti istituzionali, e da parte del settore privato una maggiore consapevolezza delle proprie responsabilità verso la collettività. La città creativa, concetto da lui coniato nei tardi anni '80, è divenuto nel tempo un modello condiviso per ripensare la pianificazione e la gestione delle città. IAAD, in qualità di incubatore di innovazione e creatività, ha lavorato per una settimana con 8 differenti workshop, progettando soluzioni per la riqualificazione del territorio. The civic creativity – argues Landry – is the imaginative capacity to solve problems applied to objectives aimed at the collective good. It assumes by the public sector a greater entrepreneurial spirit, even within the institutional limits, and by the private sector a greater awareness of their responsibilities towards the community. IAAD, as incubator of innovation and creativity, has been working for a week with 8 different workshops, designing solutions for the redevelopment of the territory. Results will be presented in a press pre-view on Friday, February 19th from 13.45 to 14.15 and to the public from 14.30 to 18.00 at Sala Lattes – BasicNet – C.so Regio Parco 39 – Torino.
